We create intense, irreverent, live interdisciplinary artwork.
Lydian Junction was born in 2011, when director Sarah Cameron Sunde brought together dancer Dages Juvelier Keates, composer Christopher Berg, and actor Oliver Burns to experiment with performance forms and content. Since then, we've added video artist Karla Carballar to the mix and developed performances for New Georges' Trunk Show, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Hybrid Theatreworks, and Figment Festival on Governor's Island. Lydian Junction has received support through one week residencies at New Georges, 3LD Art & Technology Center, and [the end]. Our performance practice straddles the lines between theater, installation, video art, music, and dance.
